ANALYSIS OF ANTHROPOMETRIC INDICATORS OF SITTING VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS

Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze the anthropometric indicators of sitting volleyball players.
Research methods and organization. Eight male athletes with disabilities (average age 39.4±4.5 years) engaged in sitting volleyball participated in the study. The testing included the assessment of linear anthropometric indicators. Statistical analysis methods were used to process the obtained data, which allowed for the establishment of relationships between anthropometric characteristics.
Research results showed the presence of correlational dependencies between certain anthropometric parameters, such as arm and leg length, which significantly influence the success of gameplay actions. The importance of considering these characteristics in the construction of the training process and the selection of playing positions has also been confirmed.
Conclusion. It is recommended that specialists working with sitting volleyball players take into account the anthropometric characteristics of the athletes when designing the training process. This allows for the inclusion of complexes of special exercises aimed at improving movement techniques and enhancing the level of physical qualities development.
