THE SUCCESS AND CONFLICTOLOGICAL COMPETENCE OF AN EDUCATOR, AND THEIR INTERRELATION

Abstract

In the modern educational process, the issue of conflictological competencies among educators is of great significance. The key quality of a new type of educator is professional competence, readiness for innovative activities, and the ability to act swiftly and productively in the rapidly changing conditions of the educational system.
The purpose of the study is to identify the conflictological competencies of general education school teachers in the city of Moscow as one of the factors contributing to the success of educators.
Research methods and organization. The study was conducted based on an average general education school in Moscow using empirical methods (psychological testing and expert surveys) and mathematical statistics methods.
Research results and conclusions. A correlation has been identified between conflictological competence and the success of educators in their professional activities. In particular, educators with a high level of conflictological competence are characterized by a high level of success and vice versa. Furthermore, the conflictological competence of a teacher is manifested not only in conflict prevention but also in managing conflicts for pedagogical purposes.
