The magazine "Intelligentsia and the World" has been published since 2001, it is published 4 times a year and remains the only specialized scientific publication in Russia in the field of intellectual studies. Over the years of publication, a community has formed on its basis, uniting historians, philosophers, philologists, sociologists, and political scientists from about 100 universities and academic institutes in most regions of Russia, as well as countries near (Belarus, Ukraine, etc.) and far (Serbia, Bulgaria, Poland, Italy, Germany, China, etc.) abroad.
The journal "Intelligentsia and the World" is included by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation in the List of peer—reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of candidate and Doctor of Historical Sciences should be published (as amended on 01.01.2019) in scientific specialties (as amended on 24.02.2021) 5.6.1. — National History and 5.6.2. - Universal History. The journal "Intelligentsia and the World" is also included in the international scientific citation databases. All articles published in the publication are assigned the DOI prefix and the unique EDN code (eLibrary Document Number).
