Abstract
In 2012, the innovation magistrate was created on the basis of the Department of Strength of Material and Structures of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The creation of the magis- trate was necessitated for the training of engineering and scientific personnel dealing with design of large-span space lattice and shell structures because of rising interest to this problem.
