The study of population satisfaction of medical care quality: new scopes and old problems

Abstract

The article deals with the methodological and technical issues of the organization of mass survey of population satisfaction of medical care quality. It is demonstrated that implementing the indicators of population's satisfaction of medical care quality as the management tool increases the responsibility of sociology of medicine for the development of methodology and techniques of such surveys. The public area penetration of contradictory data obtained with non-approved techniques can result in decreasing the confidence to such surveys both from public structures and population.
