Resumo
We report a high-peak-power, short-pulse-width LD end-pumped doubly Q-switched Nd:YAG 946 nm laser. Using an acousto-optically Q-switch and a Cr4+:YAG saturable absorber, doubly Q-switched operation in 946 nm laser is conducted at 3 kHz. Maximum peak power of 17.8 kW is achieved with a pulse width of 15.5 ns in doubly Q-switched 946 nm laser operation.
