Wear of Composition Coatings Containing SiC–Al2O3 for Piston Skirt of Internal Combustion Engines of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment

A structure and the main properties of coatings made of the composition material which contains the wearproof component SiC–Al₂O₃ have been investigated. The coatings had been deposited by the intrusive method on casting silicon aluminium alloy Ал-25 by the modified method in the high velosity stream of sand. Influence of technological descriptions of deposition on the basic tribotechnical descriptions of coatings has been investigated.
