Wear of Composition Coatings Containing SiC–Al2O3 for Piston Skirt of Internal Combustion Engines of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment

Abstract

A structure and the main properties of coatings made of the composition material which contains the wearproof component SiC–Al2O3 have been investigated. The coatings had been deposited by the intrusive method on casting silicon aluminium alloy Ал-25 by the modified method in the high velosity stream of sand. Influence of technological descriptions of deposition on the basic tribotechnical descriptions of coatings has been investigated.
