Abstract

The interaction of perfluoropolyether peroxides with perfluoro- and polyfluoroaromatic compounds (C6F6, C6F5H, C6F5Cl, and C6F5CF3) was investigated. It was found that branched and cross-linked perfluoropolymers with a glass transition temperature below −110 °C and the destruction onset temperature 400 °C were generated under the thermolysis of perfluoropolyperoxides and polyfluorinated aromatic compounds at 280–290 °C. DSC and DTGA data were provided.
