Abstract
A new approach to CF3-containing 3,4-dihydroquinazolin-2(1H)-ones based on the condensation of 5-acetyl-6-methyl-1-phenyl-4-trifluoromethylpyrimidin-2(1H)-one with dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal has been suggested.
