Abstract

The production of reactive oxygen species by blood leukocytes and bone marrow cells in the reaction of luminol-dependent chemiluminescence under the action of non-opsonized zymosan and zymosan opsonized with fresh or inactivated autologous serum at 56 °C was investigated. It was established that an increase in the chemiluminescence levels takes place in all three variants of phagocyte activation, but it is most pronounced when using fresh serum.
