The article describes complex treatment of 56 patients suffering from with chronic prostatitis and vesiculitis with the use of microwave
irradiation (of the cm range). This complex therapy made it possible to achieve better results in the main group of patients
vs. the comparison group (71 people), who received only drug treatment. Treatment resulted in the normalization of the leukocyte
count in the prostate gland discharge and venous circulation rate in the prostatic plexus. A reduction in the diameter of the venous
lumen was observed in more cases in the group of patients undergoing a microwave therapy than in the comparison group.
