Abstract

Several variants of waveguide 180 degree turns: slot turn, probe turn and bends in E- 
and H- planes are considered. All the variants are optimized for 7...9 operating frequency range. Optimization is performed with help of electromagnetic simulator HFSS. It is demonstrated that optimally tuned turns have in the mentioned above range reflection coefficientless than –26 dB. Sensitivity of the investigated turns to manufacturing errors is analyzed by the method of statistical tests.
