Formation of Dynamic Photorefractive Gratings in a LiNbO3:Cu Surface-Doped Crystal

Abstract

We present results of experimental studies, theoretical analysis, and numerical modeling of specific features of photorefractive gratings that are formed by a high-contrast interference pattern of writing laser beams in an X-cut plate of a LiNbO3:Cu crystal created from a metal film by diffusion doping.
