The Laboratory of Refrigeration Systems is one of the main subdivisions of VNIHI

Abstract

The activities of the laboratory of refrigeration systems of VNIHI coincided practically with the beginning of work in 1931 of the mechanical sector, of which it was a part. At its origins were such luminaries-refrigerators as Professor V.E. Tsydzik, a young engineer Sh.N. Kobulashvili, who became later director of the Institute, the future Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor A.A. Gogolin, a well-known specialist A. M. Gorbunov and many other specialists. For many years, the laboratory was headed by Cand. tech. Sciences V.V. Lavrov.
