Abstract

In 2001, the Danfoss Maneurop compressor technical expertise center (KM) was established in Moscow. Based on the data accumulated during its work, statistics were compiled and an analysis of the causes of KM failures was carried out. The overview of the causes of KM failures given in the article will help to avoid mistakes in installation and operation and reduce the risk of abnormal situations. Presented cases are common not only for Danfoss Maneurop KM, but also for other hermetic KM, except for those, which are connected with design features of this or that model.
