Abstract

At present, the main products of air separation - oxygen, nitrogen and argon - are widely used in various branches of science and technology. At the same time, in a number of technological processes, high requirements are imposed on the purity of these products, according to which the content of impurities in them must be several orders of magnitude lower than is allowed by the current GOSTs inn TU. The same requirements apply to the purity of some other gases used in low temperature technology, such as hydrogen, helium and carbon dioxide. In this case, the limiting total volumetric content of microimpurities of individual components in a number of cases should not exceed 10~6-10~7%.
