Abstract
In modern refrigeration systems, various gaseous substances are used as refrigerants: ammonia, hydrofluorocarbons (HFC), hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFC), propane, CO2. All these refrigerants are quite safe if the refrigeration units are properly maintained and equipped with high-quality components (compressors, fittings, automation, etc.). But even in this case, there is always the possibility of a refrigerant leak from the system due to personnel errors or equipment problems. What can I say, when the installation of installations was carried out in haste and not at the proper level.
