Resumo
The influence of SiC additives and annealing on the wear of electrolytic nickel-phosphorus coatings under different friction conditions (sliding, fretting wear, and fretting corrosion) was studied. It was found that wear of coatings due to sliding friction is much lower than due to fretting wear and fretting corrosion. It is shown that in most of the considered friction conditions the least wear is provided by the heattreated nickel-phosphorus coating without SiC additives.
