Combined Method of Classifying Objects in Mammographic Images

Аннотация

The article presents algorithms of diagnosing benign and malignant tumors in X-ray images of mammary glands. The algorithms are based on assessing degree of contour straightness of tumors and comparing the images of both mammary glands of the patient by comparing the appearance of similar regions of mammograms. Performance of the proposed algorithms was assessed on a sample of real mammograms of a group of patients.
