Abstract
In 80 patients with cholecystitis, the total protein and polarographic activity of bile were determined. In cholecystitis in the polarograms of the gallbladder and hepatic bile, significant changes were revealed, expressed in an increase in the total height of the polarographic wave, an increase in the first and second stages and a decrease in the polarographic index, most pronounced in calculous cholecystitis. A high degree of correlation was found between the total height of the polarographic wave and the level of proteinocholia.
