Аннотация
Понимание процессов изменений цервикальных тканей перед родами является одним из наиболее значимых вопросов современного акушерства. В обзоре рассмотрены современные публикации отечественных и зарубежных авторов в области механизмов антенатальной трансформации шейки матки. Клеточные и гуморальные компоненты воспаления в тканях шейки матки представлены как наиболее значимые причины в генезе морфологических изменений цервикальных тканей. Определены направления дальнейших исследований в области данной научной проблемы.
