Stable ischemic heart disease is associated with a high risk of mortality, morbidity and disability if not treated. Chest pain in patients who do not need to be hospitalized urgently require prompt angina pectoris exclusion. In this article some current algorithms for stable angina examination and differential diagnosis are presented. Keywords: chest pain, stable angina, differential diagnosis.
