Abstract
The study aims to identify cognitive-semiotic mechanisms of conceptualizing taste experience in the Sakha language through the analysis of the verb amsai. The research employs an integrative methodology combining principles of cognitive linguistics and semiotics, enabling the analysis of linguistic units as elements of complex sign systems connected with cultural codes and mental structures. The research materials include lexicographic data and examples from literary works. The findings reveal that the verb amsai possesses a complex semantic structure integrating sensory, cognitive, and culturally determined components of meaning. The obtained data are significant for studies in perceptual semantics and for preserving the linguistic heritage of indigenous Siberian peoples.
