Reconstruction of the Course of Natural Processes by Data of a Comprehensive Study of Bottom Sediments in Lake Oron (East Siberia, Kodar Mountain Ridge)

Changes in abiotic and biotic conditions in mountain Lake Oron and adjacent areas are reconstructed on the basis of radiometric, palynological, and chiromonid (Insecta: Diptera) analysis in the lake bottom sediments. It is suggested that there were 200-year-long natural cycles of the alternation of cold and warm phases during the approximately 800-year period of the studied history of Lake Oron.
