The conditions of safety ensure based on the LBB concept were investigated.The meth- ods and approaches used for the calculations based on the LBB conceptare shown. The results of this work were derived for NPP VVER -440, using the regulations of the USA, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Russia in the LBB concept
