Abstract
We propose a procedure for the investigation of the possible loss of stability of a rotating elastoplastic radially inhomogeneous stepped circular disk by the method of small parameter. The characteristic equation for the critical radius of the plastic zone is obtained in the first approximation. The values of the critical angular rotational velocity are numerically found for various parameters of the disk.
