Abstract
A microwave electrically tunable photonic crystal based on a periodically width-modulated slot transmission line with a ferroelectric film is investigated for the first time. The dispersion and transmission characteristics of electromagnetic waves propagating in such a structure are calculated. The electric control over photonic crystal characteristics is simulated.
