Resumo

Different layouts of casting-rolling complexes are analyzed from the point of view of producing cold-resistant pipe steel grades X60–X70. Based on calculations for a recrystallization model it is possible to establish the effect of rolling equipment configuration and main process temperature and time parameters on austenitic structure quantitative characteristics. Using the criteria proposed possibilities are demonstrated for optimizing the process with different equipment layouts.
