Abstract

The effect of the shapes of the transmitter and receiver antennas on the voltage gain and the bandwidth of the wireless channel of inductive powering units was evaluated. Antennas with square and round coils were compared. It was shown that under otherwise identical conditions square-coil antennas provided higher voltage gain and broader bandwidth of the wireless channel.
